What Is the Bermuda Challenge?
Think "America’s Next Top Model" meets "Rip the Runway" but this time, the runway is on a cruise ship and the island has pink sand. The Bermuda Challenge is the signature competition during Fashion Forward at Sea, where fashion, beauty, creativity, and chaos collide in the best way possible.
From the ship to the shorelines of Bermuda, this all-day creative battle brings together models, designers, makeup artists (MUAs), photographers, stylists, and content creators to produce one jaw-dropping editorial experience live, under pressure, and on location.
This is more than a challenge. It's your chance to show the world what you're made of. Each team will be randomly assigned and given a surprise theme something bold, unexpected, and wildly fun.
You won’t know the challenge until you dock. You’ll have one half day on the island to bring the vision to life.
The team that serves the most iconic final look, captures the vision, and delivers pure heat will be crowned during the Fashion Show at Sea.
Bermuda Challenge Roles

Models
You are the face of the fantasy. You’ll be assigned to a team and will bring the look to life through emotion, presence, and posing. You may walk in multiple looks, but your performance is key to winning this challenge. (Sign up for casting call)

Fashion Designers
You are the architect of the look. You may use up to 2 of your own models, but your remaining models will be randomly assigned. You must create your full look using your own pieces, guided by the team theme. (Show your collection)

Makeup Artists (MUAs)
You bring the drama to the face. You’ll work under pressure to deliver a cohesive glam look that matches the challenge theme. Creativity is a must. Speed is essential.

Stylists
You are the final polish. You’ll help coordinate accessories, props, hair, and help pull together the look from top to toe.

Photographers
You are the storyteller. Your photo is what will live on past the cruise. You’ll need to scout your Bermuda location, direct the shoot, and deliver magic in-camera by deadline.

Content Creators
You are the storyteller. Your photo is what will live on past thYou’ll be in the mix capturing BTS, Reels, TikToks, and quick-turn content to showcase your team in action. Think mini docuseries energy. You're the team's brand hype engine.e cruise. You’ll need to scout your Bermuda location, direct the shoot, and deliver magic in-camera by deadline.
How Teams Work
- Teams will be randomly assigned (except designers may bring 2 of their own models)
- Each team will receive their theme the morning you dock in Bermuda.
- Teams must select their own team name before heading to location.
- Everyone will be judged on execution, originality, teamwork, and final presentation
- Winning team is announced on Runway Night and receives trophies, cash prizes, and featured promo on all BLVCK EXODUS platforms.
