How Do You Get Into Fashion Week as a Designer?

(And Why This Cruise Could Be the Platform You’ve Been Praying For)

Every designer has one dream—seeing their work come alive on the runway. Fabric moving. Lights flashing. Applause rising.
It’s not just about clothes—it’s about legacy.

So when someone asks, “How do you get into Fashion Week as a designer?”—what they’re really asking is:
How do I get seen? How do I get heard? How do I finally step into the spotlight?

Let’s break down the traditional process—and show you a powerful, faith-driven alternative that’s making waves in 2026.

What’s the Usual Path Into Fashion Week?

For most designers, getting into one of the “Big Four” (New York, Paris, Milan, London) isn’t easy. In fact, it often looks like this:

  • Be a member of a fashion council (like CFDA)

  • Submit to exclusive production companies and wait to be selected

  • Pay production fees anywhere from $10,000 to $50,000

  • Source your own glam squad, models, media team, and venue

  • Hope your show gets media coverage—and that the right people show up

It’s stressful. Expensive. And often discouraging for new and independent designers.

That’s why we created something that flips the script.
Something luxury. Something intimate. Something at sea.
